You have several choices for tracking inspection locations more precisely than the overall project:
- Record the location in the location field at the top of the checklist. This is the easiest but least structured method.
- Set up a checkpoint on the checklist for “Location”. Make it a data checkpoint and it will be displayed as data on the checklist printouts.
- Use Setup>Project Setup Process and select a project. Select Phase on the left-hand Process Menu and add the phases, floors, areas, or any subdivision of the project. The inspector chooses which area they are inspecting before they get to the checklist. This is the most structured but must be setup before it is used.
