Send Connection Invites for 10 companies
Select 10 companies to activate from the FTQ360_Ideal_Customer_ICP_list Excel spreadsheet.
Log into Ed Caldeira’s LinkedIn account. Open the Sales Navigator app.
In Sales Navigator, select “Saved Searches.” This is where you’ll look-up the first company from the Excel spreadsheet.
From the Saved Searches panel, select “Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer…”
On the Search Screen, Select the Current Company field and type the company name. (This will bring up a selection of companies with the same or similar name. You may need to look up the company’s website to identify the company’s logo/)
When you select the company, Sales Navigator will provide several contacts from that company who have LinkedIn profiles. You are looking for CEOs, Presidents, Chief Operating Officers, and Quality Managers.
Select potential contacts and click “Save to List.” You’ll create a new list for today’s contacts titled “Connection List MM/DD/YYYY” to invite to connect later.
Repeat the above steps until the 10 companies to activate have contacts added to today’s Connection List.
Next, go to the Leads screen and open today’s Connection List.
Invite the contact to connect with the message:
LinkedIn keeps suggesting you as a connection, so I thought I’d reach out. Probably because we both have a passion for construction tech for field productivity and QAQC. Let’s connect so we can stay in touch.
Ed.
After the connection invite is sent, add a note stating that “Connection request sent MM/DD/YYYY.”
2. Add the recently invited X number of contacts into Hubspot
In LinkedIn Sales Navigator, go to Leads and select the Connection List with connections to import into Hubspot.
Open each contact into a separate tab in the browser.
On the contact page, scroll down to the “Add to HubSpot” section. Click “Create Contact.”
Click the “Enrich” button to pull email and phone number data from Apollo.
Then update the fields in Additional Properties.
- FTQ Industry: General Contractor (or appropriate industry)
- FTQ Lead Source: LinkedIn
- Lead Status: New
- City: Remove the state from the city in this field
- State/Region: Type the state listed in the City field
4. Mark New Companies as "Activated" & Send "Sales Email #1" and mark New Contacts as "Contacted"
In Hubspot, open the newly added companies in separate tabs.
For each company, change the Lead Status to “Activated” and the Source to “Outbound.”
Then open each contact for the company into a separate tab.
For each contact, change the lead status to “Contacted,” the FTQ360 Filter to “LinkedIn Connection,” and the Source to “Outbound.”
Next, click the email button to send the Sales Email #1 (Construction) template to the contact.
