“Phase” and “Lot” are interchangeable labels for a sub-section of a Project/Community, i.e. the location where work and inspections are performed. Depending on your industry, you will see one of the two labels displayed in the software. Video tutorials are available at the end of the article.
Instructions
1. Go to: SYSTEM ADMIN > Project/Community Setup Process.
2. "Select" the Project/Community to which you'd like to add Phases. Click on the radial circle at the beginning of the row. .
3. To add the phase, click the blue "Go To" button and select "Phases" or click the blue hyperlink in the Phases column.
- "Phases" is a customizable term, so in your account you may have labeled them by a more appropriate term, such as "Address" or "Lots."
4. If you are entering phases for the first time in this project, you'll get a pop-up window. You can paste a series of lines (phases, addresses, lots, etc.) into the "Title" field. Each line will be a separate phase.
- Note: If you are adding additional phases, click the blue "Add New" button on the phase screen and you'll get the pop-up to add the new line items.
5. Click the blue "Create" button to add the new phases to the project..
6. The new phases will now appear in the Phase Screen for this project.
NEW!
Smart Inspector Project Access and Permissions Setup Now when you add new phases to a project, FTQ360 figures out which inspectors should have access. Each inspector will inherit the highest access permissions that they have on ALL other phases of the project. When an inspector’s overall project permission box is marked as checked (not partials) they will get the same permission on newly added phase.
