On the checklist screen and other setup screens, “Code” is a unique identifier for the item, such as a Checklist or Project. The system generates a code, but you can change it as long as it is unique. You shouldn’t have to change the number that the system generates, but some companies use internal accounting codes for Projects and Responsible Parties.
"Seq." stands for sequence and determines the order the items (Checklists, Checkpoints, Projects, etc.) will display on your Inspection Entry screen. If all the sequence numbers are the same, the checklists will display in alphabetical order.
