You can set the preferred order for your standard and/or plan mode selection sequences. Project and Phase/Lot order will always be first. After that, you might want to show a list of locations or equipment before checklists or plan items. There is a separate preference setting for standard mode and ITP plan mode.
Instructions:
1. Go to Setup>Customization>Customization Preferences.
2. Type "Steps Sequence" in the search field.
3. In the "How Term is Used," find "Steps Sequence" line to set your preference for the selection order for the "Standard" selection process or "ITP Steps Sequence" for the "Plan Mode" selection process.
4. In the "Term" column, type the number that corresponds with the desired sequence.
Standard - The default for the "Standard" selection process is "1" (Location, Checklist, Vendor aka Responsible Party or Subcontractor, Equipment).

- 2-Location, Equipment, Checklist, Vendor
- 3-Checklist, Location, Vendor, Equipment
- 4-Equipment, Checklist, Location, Vendor
- 5-Equipment, Location, Checklist, Vendor
Plan Mode - The default for the "Plan Mode" selection process is "3" (Plan item aka Checklist, Location, Vendor aka Responsible Party or Subcontractor, Equipment)

- 3-Plan Item, Location, Vendor, Equipment

5. Click "Save."
