Customize the Org. Type for a Responsible Party

You can change or customize the name of an Organization Type for a Responsible Party or Department.

 The default Org. Types are: Architect, Company Department, Company Work Crew, Engineer, General Contractor, Responsible Person, Sharing Partner, Subcontractor, and Supplier.

Directions

1. Go to Setup>Customization> Customization Preferences.

2. Type the name you'd like to change in the search field.   For example: Engineer.

3. In the "Term" field, type the new name you'd like to use for the Organization Type.

4. Press Save. 

 Now when you go to Setup>Responsible Party Setup Process and click the Org. Type, the new title will show up in the drop down.
