Responsible Person Setting

The Responsible Persons are the users affiliated with a main Responsible Party who can be selected as the Primary and/or Secondary Responsible Party on an inspection.

Responsible Person is basically an "individual" responsible party when it comes to the selection process and print outs and all the points in the software that use the responsible party:

Instructions

User Setup

To make a user appear as a selectable Responsible Person, follow these steps:

1. Go to System Admin>User Setup and select the User Name
2. Select the Responsible Party from the drop down in the Affiliation Field.
3. Click the toggle for "User Active as Responsible Person for Deficiencies"
   • If the toggle is not selected, this User will not appear on the Inspection Selection screen.
4. Click "Save."

Responsible Party Setup

You can view the Responsible Persons who will show up in the Selection Process on the Responsible Party Setup Screen.

1. Go to System Admin>Responsible Party Setup
2. Select the Responsible Party.
3. The Users column shows you the number of Users affiliated with this Responsible Party
4. Click the blue Users hyperlink
5. This screen shows you which users are set to "Responsible Person" and will appear in the Selection Process.
   • Users who do not have "Active as Responsible Person" in User Setup selected will not appear on this screen and will not appear in the Selection Process.

Inspection Selection Process

The "Responsible Person" is a user who appears as a selectable Responsible Party in the inspection Selection Process.
